Landscape work is apparently being done at the property, but nothing is being down to remedy the pool safety and health hazard. I called the Code Enforcement office to ask if the abandoned swimming pool could be a priority. I explained that children jump the fence to hunt for frogs, and it's full of stagnant standing water. She said there is a fence, and the pool is no more dangerous than any other pool in the city. She said it is an attractive nuisance regarding children, but they are trespassing on private property and when I see them there I should call the police. I was stunned!
